Thursday, 6/7 Rec Conversation of the day
So I'm working the Rock Wall at the Feast and my DD and the Big Hitter who got intentionally walked in our last game wander by. Monday's "Rec Play of the Day"
It's tied 11 to 11 in the bottom of the last inning. We have the winning run on 3rd. Our best hitter is at bat. Teaching sliding to an overweight youth
Any advice on teaching sliding techniques to 11-12 year olds girls that are overweight+awkward? I once saw a video where a big girl "slid" by dropping her right knee onto the base path and skidding in a kneeling posistion into the base on her right knee and left cleats.
