    10u PGF pitcher speed OMG

I heard there were some colleges out there watching her. Any chance you could snap some video?

Clock management...what would you have done?

I absolutely agree with this. Call your allotted time out. Your kids probably fought hard to get to where they are and you should, as their coach, help manage the win.

    12yo Maddie

I really like this swing a lot. Love how the lead shoulder/elbow work up on the high inside pitch. A lot of great things going on in her swing. Does she hit for power?

    VeloPRO Training Hype?

Curious if it assists in unweighting the back side really well. Could be helpful.... If they put it on the front leg, too, I can see it really helping with the flexion angle of the front knee remaining constant on the stride out to help with "getting sat."

    Latest video of Brooke

Congratulations! I didn't realize she was playing D1. I thought she was still in HS. Your threads have been active for a long time. Great job and good luck to Brooke.

Ground ball banana drill? Baseball vs. softball.

I didn't watch the entire video, but I do know they teach rounding the ball at the highest level. Someone mentioned Kobata and although I like his teachings and have his videos they don't necessarily teach everything he shows at the highest level.

    Bunt defense 10U B

From my experience showing bunt and hitting is not just about trying to fool the defense and ram it down their throat. IMO I believe it is a valuable technique for younger players to learn. Squaring up can help the hitter zone in on an area they are looking for the pitch. It is a great technique...

    Bunt defense 10U B

Amen. I think it is a duty of younger level coaches to teach what they will be doing at the higher levels.

Fixing sprinters posture using the foot hyperarch mechanic

No, no need to spill the beans. I am sure everyone respects the copyright. I just wanted to make sure what I was paying for. Thanks.

Fixing sprinters posture using the foot hyperarch mechanic

Very interesting. Thanks for sharing. Does his ebook explain in detail about "how to" perform HA? Is it just squeezing the toes together and arching the foot? The reason I ask is in an earlier post you said that there wasn't much to his ebook, so I am wondering how to get all the info on HA...

    Help with 11yr old

I really like this swing. If she were mine I would solely focus on power hitting from the left side. High level coaches (later) can "coach her up" to execute the short game.

    Help with 11yr old

Just me two cents... I am not convinced she is pushing. It may look like it later in the swing because the tee is placed too far forward. Getting to much stretch, IMO, between hip and hands/barrel will cause her to have to fight to get the barrel around. IOW's, turning the barrel with the front...

    Help with 11yr old

I would just let her keep hitting. Her swing is way beyond most at her age. Are you seeing a lot of grounders from her? If so, she is probably making contact out front too much. Move the tee back to about her front heel (where it is at foot plant) and have her hit the ball up in the air. Nice...

Can ASA "B" players play ASA "A" Tournaments during spring and summer

Can ASA "B" players play ASA "A" Tournaments during spring and summer Hi there - There seems to be a lot of confusion with this rule. ASA rules... Can ASA "B" players play ASA "A" Tournaments during spring and summer and still be qualified to play in ASA "B" Championships? Thank you.

    Frustrated....

The longer I read the boards the more I am starting to feel that squish the bug was over-used way back as an argument to sell another thought/product. And, I can't believe I am writing this now, but I am starting to believe that squishing the bug, very late in the swing, isn't such a bad thing.
