Have every parent donate a $20 scratch off ticket or 4x $5 (you get the picture) stick them to a poster board and then raffle off chances to win the board. We made over $1000 with very little effort, gamblers will be gambling. :)
DD loved the finger shift design of this guy but is concerned it’s too small at 11.75” She’s used to 12.5 Now I have to decide whether to sell this one bc I got it so cheap or return it and try and find a 12”. The journey continues…
I got my GW glove today and my kids went full Super Mario for me! It was a total surprise and I love it. The quality is impressive, way better than the 44 we bought last year.
Wow that is impressive! My kids built and ordered me a Gloveworks glove for Father’s Day and after 6 weeks it just went from leather cutting to embroidery. I might get it by Thanksgiving. 😂
Hey I know the rules of a glove, I only did the "insertion" after the relace and she said it was still loose. I needed a measuring stick, is this a chasm of a hand hole or is my daughter's hand super skinny? Chasm it is, and I'd say the problem is both the closure and finger stall. After my...
Good call @ArmWhip I may go that route if she doesn't like the batting glove.
Thanks LEsoftballdad I'll check that out, I got the Smart coach and fortunately was able to use one of the local 20% off Dicks coupons.
I think it could be where the a1000 are so soft off the shelf the leather may have just stretched over time (6 months of almost daily use) because I have a fairly thick hand can still get it in hers on the tightest setting. We've been around the block with her and gloves I bought her a 44 Japan...
I just did the relace and it didn’t really help much. I guess I’ll try a batting glove but I can see where this is heading. Annasdad what’s your recommendation on a light glove with small opening. She plays pitcher and short the majority of the time.
Thanks everyone! I’ll give the relace a shot and if that doesn’t do it try the batting glove…and lastly a new glove 😂 She likes how light the a1000 is, I swear she’s like Goldilocks half the time with her equipment!
My daughter has an a1000 that’s starting to really frustrate her as it slides around when she’s pitching. I feel like I’ve tightened it to the max but it’s still loose. She’s 13 with thin hands and long fingers. Any ideas to make it tighter?
Local shop had a demo of the new Meta, my daughter really liked it. Apparently the new version is more balanced (she's used to a CF), the owner said he's ordering more -9 than usual for the girls who like the heavier feel. It was pretty too IMO, black and gold. He said probably August before...
Well we went too heavy, and after several practices although she loves the sound the bat makes she prefers her more balanced CF. This bat has very little use and hasn't seen any games it was purchased in late November as a Christmas present so it is still under warranty. $340 including shipping.
