    Is youth fitness a problem?

My husband and I were just talking about this over the weekend. Most of our team just seemed to be wiped out including our dd. We want to start giving her high energy foods all the time to keep her strong and not as sluggish. Any suggestions on recipies would be greatly appreciated. Also what...

    player rotation

I disagree with the idea of having girls stay home because it would be easier on the coach to rotate them. I too play a league where all the girls bat and each girl has to be "scheduled" to play three innings. That is why I plan way ahead for a game by determing who plays what position which...

    player rotation

I coached a rec team last year with 14 girls ranging in age from 11-12. This year I only have 11. Pulling Front Foot

I have to agree her stepping in the bucket isn't motivated by fear. I believe it is in her head and mental though. We tell her all the time that the ball hitting her at the level she is playing is uncommon. She knows that...

    Does pitching style matter????

I have heard different theories on what style is best. Is it better to close the door or leave it open?

    Pulling Front Foot

She does pull her shoulder too. She has good hand eye coordination bc she makes contact with the ball consistently but either goes foul or right side most times. the strange thing is in practice she does not pull her foot. We have done drills with putting a bat behind her feet and she never...

    Pulling Front Foot

My daughter continually pulls her front foot. Her swing is great but how do we keep her from pulling her foot. We have noticed it is a common probelm but would like to get her to stride toward the pitcher instead. Are there any drills we can do? Thanks for your help and suggestions.
