Rec league--play to win or not--how would you handle this situation?
I think Susy and Sally need to be "batting/fielding buddies" and maybe some good will come of it. Most kids are empathetic with other kids. I'm betting that Susy would enjoy being part of something greater than herself by helping Sally. Of course, I don't know if Susy is a bully or her...- pbent67

Bat Shaking/Wavy distraction Bush League or Legit?
The bat waving is just always kind of funny. All it is doing is helping the catcher become better at focusing. I would be embarrassed as a player to do it. I put it up there with the catcher always chasing the runner back instead of firing the ball. Give me a bad throw over that any day...- pbent67

Correcting arm circle problems
Regardless of her arm circle. I bet she has some strong fingers. That ball appears to be jumping out of her hand and her hand is finishing with her fingers curled.- pbent67

Update 11 y.o- 10 swings and throwing overhand
I just did the interlocked hand thing as a lefty and it didn't make any sense as I can't throw the ball lefty; however, when I did it as a righty, I noticed my toe dug in just as described and when I threw the ball I realized that the weight shift forward would really contribute in a swing. If squishing the bug is just spinning the rear foot, then I don't think so. To me she looks like she is swinging without her arms being tied together with the rest of her body. Sorry for the youtube, didn't know another way. Can't hit off a machine to save her life. Barrel always seems about 3 inches below ball. Can't seem to get on plane. Balls leave machine at 42-44" above the floor. ( Make for one short armed pitcher to my way of thinking but I'm probably just...- pbent67
