    honestly because i didn't even want her to know where she started (it's too slow) and she has a good feel for what a good speed is. i'd rather have her speculate how fast she is right now. guns can get in a kids' head.

    do you guys throw 'em or hit 'em? i like to throw 'em to the girls; i can place them better and am generally just more efficient when my staff throws them yet the girls don't see the ball come off the bat. i think there's some merit to both. thoughts?

    i wanted to have our own domain name thus eliminating eteamz. i use a software called blue voda. very easy and looks OK and free. still working on some things but we're at: Lady Bombers Fastpitch if you'd like to see what BV is capable of. i certainly don't use it to the best of its ability.

    pitch outs and intentional walks

    this has been on my radar as well. to do this legally, the catcher has to remain in the 'catchers box' until release, is that correct? i ask because it'd be easier to have my catcher stand a few feet away from the plate as a stationary target rather than shuffle outside when the pitcher releases.
