I pretty much did that yesterday and they were more than happy to help. The warranty was up in mid February. This was the third Ghost ADV replacement and they agreed to give me a drop 10 instead of the drop 11. Thinking that the drop 11 was too light for her and was part of the durability issue...
I received a second GA warranty replacement in January, the warranty was up in February. The second replacement just cracked last week. I called Easton yesterday and even though the warranty was up a couple of months ago, they are still going to give me a replacement. I also requested the...
I was wondering the same thing. I got a text this morning from SIS about Gold GA stating, "New for 2021 - Increased Durability, Increased Performance, Better Design."
We live in Central IL. Obviously cold this time year. But the first 2020 ghost the barrel became loose at the connection and that was in August. That was a drop 10. Then decided to go to a drop 11 got it in Nov. the barrel cracked couple of days ago. She hits in a temperature controlled dome...
I should clarify. The first one the barrel became loose at the connection. The second one the barrel has around a 4 inch crack pretty much right in the middle of the barrel.. Normal use no weighted or machine balls. So I guess just the luck of the draw.
My DD has a 2020 ghost. I know most bats have flex. But where the connection piece meets the barrel seems a little loose. You can create a 1/4-1/2 inch gap by applying very little pressure. This is her first ghost. Is this normal or is there an issue with the bat?
The 2020 is my DD first Ghost. Hit several buckets off the tee. But had the first hitting session today. Us and the hitting coach were very impressed. She has a 2019 Prism with about a years worth of use. So lots of hits. The Ghost put that thing to shame! She is very happy with it!
Any one have any durability issues with the prism? My DD has one and the knob can be turned on it. Had a rattle. That went away and the bat started sounding different. Then the knob is loose and can be turned a little in each direction.
We called a girl out in a ASA/USA tournament using a USSSA ghost. They threw a huge fit and argued with the umpires. So I’m sure no one had said anything about it before. So it’s great to see the dual stamped bats coming out so hopefully it won’t be much of an issue in the future.
The biggest difference that I can see is the -10 is very noticeable on the 2020. Not as noticeable on the 2019. The D painted on towards the bottom of the barrel on the 2019 is solid gray. On the 2020 the D is not has black in the middle of the D. I know you would still have to pay close...
