    Mostly due to getting anxiety seeing the gun come out. Instead of focusing on their mechanics they try to muscle the ball. My DD old pitching coach used purely speed as a reward to teach a new pitch.

    It is fun to watch. Just a little hard to remember where they can from sometimes. It’s even better to watch videos from when they first started to where they are now. Just glad to be along for the ride.

    True. But how many PCs are out there that don’t stress the mechanics. They stress speed. It took 2 years for us to realize what good mechanics were. Like another PC in our area guns every pitch, but doesn’t stress mechanics.

    Honestly my dd just got clocked for the first time in over a year. We switched pc. The old coach was once a month. The only thing my daughter cared about was what the gun said.     Yes we work on hitting spots with the fast ball, all four corners plus a chase pitch, Change ups we work in and out, as well has throwing a screw ball.

    My daughters pitching coach is teaching her the drop ball. It’s a turn over drop. She is having a hard time not leaning over to throw the pitch and ends up releasing the ball high. Any help would be appreciated
