Does the foot move back and in during the actual pitch like he talks about during a normal pitch or does he do this just to create the feeling of the drive?
I am trying to coach my girls in pitching and we are running into same problem. Timing! They swing arm back with with weight shift to stride foot and forward at leg drive. The arm is out racing the knee. What is the fix...i cant seem to get it corrected.

I've watched video and notice her drive leg shoelaces do not face catcher such as Hillhouse advocates. Is this a must or something you let girls do in their finish. Because everyone of my pitchers seems to have foot go behind.

2) Do we need to work drive, mechanics, releases--or opposite?
