Tried on a GXS58 yesterday. It'll fit a big hand for sure. It's weird because most Mizuno fastpitch gloves/mitts are tight on me and I don't have large hands.
The Rawlings Liberty Advanced I bought definitely won't accept the same size hand the GXS58 will.
Little League minors game last night. My daughter started at SS then pitched innings 2-3. She then played SS for the 4th and the coach tried to put her back in at pitcher for the last inning.
The umpire wouldn't let her re-enter at pitcher. Then a "discussion" on the infield takes place...
Its funny the difference in care given to a purchased bat and a warranty bat. The bat I purchased from Demarini's website came bubble wrapped in a nice fitting box that's was taped up enough to survive a trip to the moon and back. It took me 5 minutes to break into it...lol
The warranty bat...
My daughter's replacement bat will be here today. 7 business days from the day they received it. Their communication is a bit lacking, but overall they did a pretty good job.
My 10u daughter wears All-Star gear. Vela chest protector and shin guards. System 7 helmet.
She tried on a ton of gear and most didn't fit very well.
It took some looking, but we found the chest protector and shin guards marked down online.
My daughter is in the exact same position. Her bat arrived in Hillsboro 3-23. They said 7-10 business days to have a replacement in hand. I got an email update yesterday with another generic 7-10 business day response.
We'd like to have my daughter's bat by Friday, but we're kind of doubtful...
Last night while packing up to head to practice,I noticed my 10u daughter's first "real" bat was cracked.
Over the last couple weeks it seemed at though some balls weren't coming off her bat with as much authority as they normally do.
I have no idea when it actually cracked,or if it had...
The coach of my 10u daughter's Little League team had the girls hopping at the first practice.
Some of these girls can hardly walk across the diamond without tripping over their own feet.
I'm not sure adding more movement is a good thing in this situation.
My DD turned 10 a month ago. She is 4'9" and weighs about 85lbs. She is currently swinging a 31/20 CF6.
He coaches think she'd benefit from a 31/21. I've been dragging my feet because I really don't feel like buying another bat...lol
I'll probably end up getting her a 31/21 before Little...
I'm actually surprised my DD likes the Worth Shut-out. She thought all the Worth gloves she tried were heavy for their size.
I think it boiled down to her very specific color/style opinions.
My 10 year old started with this model at 7.

I finally replaced it with a 12" Worth Shut Out a couple weeks ago.
No reason a 12" glove can't work for a 12" ball. My 10u daughter catches a 12" ball just fine with an 11.5" glove.
I think I'd be inclined to get a quality 12" glove if you have time to get it broken in before game use.
