    She's trying to overpower it in the game. She needs to continue to throw hard at practice with good form, no easy fix just continuous reps. Make sure she's throwing at 100 percent after she's warmed up at practice. Also tried to practice on an actual dirt mound instead of just a practice mat...

    First I would tell her I really like her glove motion.. As the others have pointed out there are a few thing to work on. As far as what's the first thing upstream I see a kind of bend forward instead of a lean at start / / I would possibly have her drive her knee forward on stride leg instead...

    I will add one last thing as far as why I feel the hip angle is a speed killer. Your DD is has IR but in leaving her drag leg behind (dragging the side of foot) her hips are staying too open. It appears to me she is missing whip because of this. Her arm appears to fly right through the brush...
