Overhyped recruit Mia Williams having a bit of a breakout against Kentucky this weekend. She has 2 HR’s and a double so far. Maybe she’s “seeing” the ball better?

I got ESPN to post this graphic before Saturday’s game.

You know your position is weak when you have to resort to using ESPN/announcers as your evidence. Good ol' ESPN, where every inside pitch is a "screwball" and every radar gun is juiced. Lol.......

On a serious note, it is quite humbling to know that I'm living rent free in your head. Thank you for thinking of me so often.

If she is 11 and 1 with a 1.34 ERA does it even matter if she throws 62 or 68? She is winning therefore she is very good. Period.
But Bad News Bear told me I was going to be disappointed. She also has 5 HR’s and is batting over .300. And now he’s ranting about ESPN speed guns because he sometimes watches ESPN and has personal knowledge of their accuracy.

Bad News Bear thinks he has to always be right. Even when he’s shown to be wrong in black and white. There’s one at every ballpark.
Oh the irony ................

To recap, I made 2 statements.

1. You would be disappointed if you were expecting her to throw high 60's. That's been proven correct as you apparently scour the internet daily for contradictory evidence and the best you can come up with is a pitch at 66 (which is mid 60's to everyone on the planet except for you) and some random ESPN graphic. and let me be clear, I am a big Ava Brown fan. She's been a great mentor to a good friend of mine's daughter who has worked out with her many times at Ava's grandfather's cages.

2. Mia Williams was overhyped. Which is also been proven correct as she is batting .208.
