Monday brag 4-17
DD is senior in college, last season going by way too fast!! She threw first perfect game in program history last night!! She told me after the game that during 7th inning she kept telling herself she needed to do it for her Dad. So proud of her! Next year with no softball will be...- soundwave

Would you tell a coach about a bad weekend?
DD is a now a junior. When being recruited we were at tournament and daughter had a rough game while coach from the school she was interested in was watching. Coach also was looking at another pitcher that weekend. Later on in the year after DD accepted offer from that school coach told her one...- soundwave

Ncaa d-ii 2014
DDs (freshman) season opener game is scheduled for this Wednesday and now another snow storm coming tonight thru tomorrow. Game probably will be cancelled.......Will they ever get to play??!! Thank goodness for Florida trip on the 14th!- soundwave

The down side to tournaments
My DDs past travel team would participate in a 18U league that had 6 to 8 18U travel teams from the area. Games were played during the weeknight at one local D1 college field. Summer long schedule with seeding and single elimination playoffs. Local coaches would show up and watch some of the...- soundwave
