We had great feedback on the slappernation we attended last year in kc. Good instructors, solid instruction, camp was very focused around the customer. We had an Olympic speed instructor that was a BIG hit with everyone.
Its about how many are rostered and only if you get caught.......for example usssa has a detailed player roster tracking system.....once you roster them they are on your roster for the year even if dropped.
So proof of how many players rostered thru the year is on there to be used against you...
What if you pop out on a 3-0 pitch that wasn't grooved and "may or may not" be a strike? Then how do you feel?
I say while your ahead in the count your only looking for your pitch. So a 3-0 better be your homerun pitch or your taking it. I don't have to give the take sign for that.
Cold reduces inflammation which promotes healing. Heat increases blood flow to the muscles which also promotes healing but only after the first 24 hours and when inflammation is minimized.
So ice at days end and heat if soreness still exists after 24 hours. If pain exists after 24 hours...
As a board certified medical professional ice I advise at the end of the day only. Only when the activity is completely finished for the day and you are in permanent rest mode.
Between innings cover the arm and shoulder to keep it warm.
Or the coaches and players that yell I got it on a foul or fly ball........classless. They are kids playing a game. Let the kids play the game.
