illegal pitch???
TimothyJ - That is exactly what it looks like, that she is taking a step before her pitch starts. Sorry I know I had everyone confused. SHe has no drag in her pitch at all. Is this illegal? Just seems she has an unfair advantage of being a step closer to the plate.- katrox

illegal pitch???
She steps off pitching rubber w/ left foot, lands left foot. Then, brings right foot and throwing arm forward. Then, she pushes again with left foot and the pitch is snapped. illegal pitch???
We have a pitcher on our team who is a closed style pitcher. Her pitch looks to be illegal but we are not sure. She pushes off of the pitching rubber with her right foot, steps out and pushes off of the ground with her left foot then releases the ball at the same time she is stepping and...- katrox

Sizing catcher's equipment
My daughter is big (tall) for her age and we are trying too buy catchers equip. Can anyone tell me how to measure for the correct size. Sizes of most equip is based on age. The local stores only have one brand, which she doesnt like so we are trying to order a set. Thanks- katrox

Overuse???
My 10 year old has been pitching for almost 2 years. She has done very well. Last year the team that she played for was a tournament team so they played league (2 -4 games a week) and 3-4 tournaments a month. The problem was she was the only pitcher. squeeze ur knees and spin ur hips ?
My daughter told me that her pitching coach told her the other day to make sure she squeezes her knees and spins her hips on the pitch. She is now not sure what he meant. I will ask him at her next lesson but was wondering if anyone new what he meant by that in the mean time. Thanks- katrox

Help with wrist snaps
My 10 yo is having a problem with her wrist snap. She is snapping her hand to the side.She practices wrist snaps in the open position and at times her fingers after the snap is almost pointing to her thigh.
