    Unless you're trying to take advantage of a struggling pitcher or move a speedy baserunner with a straight steal, taking a first strike is a bad strategy.

    NCAA Division II Championship Game

    In a word - UGLY! I've seen plenty of D2 games over the years, but none as ugly as yesterday's Hawaii/Valdosta match-up. One fielding error after another. What an embarassing representation of our sport. And these were supposed to be the 2 best teams in D2. :(
