For those that have DD in the ages of 9-10, what glove size/brand/type would you recommend?
Looking for a friend that has a 9 year old DD that has 1 more year of 11" ball and then will move up to the 12" ball.
Thanks in advance...

I believe the home plate ump has the call for out on the catch (watching the outfielder). And the base ump is responsible for the runner (leaving early, tagging up, or getting back).
Does that help?

Thanks Chris.
Fastballs are pretty much all these girls see.
And yes, I'm picking out the things from everything that may help. :)

Any tips, tricks or drills to help a batter lay off the high pitches. I have a Freshman that continuously chases after high pitches.
And she misses them, of course. :)

I thought when I looked a month ago they were both $50 but I see now you are right.
I was about to get the book but decided to try it first before I spent that much money. So I went on YouTube and got a couple of the drills. You may want to start there to see if it's for you. I will admit...
Never heard of such a rule in Michigan or anywhere else for that matter.
But I'm a few years removed from interaction with Little League so may be it's new.

When the ball leaves the pitching circle it is live and runners are able to advance at their own risk.
I'm not certain on the timing but I believe once the batter takes a ready position in the batters box the pitcher has 20 seconds to deliver a pitch.
