pop. maybe maybe we didn't give the bat enough break in period but it always seemed dead. i sold it and got some monies out of it and moved on. i've read other reviews about that model that echoed what my thoughts were about that model.
new ga's weight specs are getting close and closer to sticker weight. Both the bats are within .1 ounce of what they supposed to be. They don't feel as end loaded as year's past end loaded felt if that makes sense. But it does perform a bit more end loaded with more weight through the ball...

dd got a warranty replacement of the previous white 2022 mode GA and replacement is the new black model double barrel 3 GA. Bats keeping getting lighter and lighter. 33 -9 is literally 24 ounces on the nose.

she had a mizuno pwr crbn as her first bat at about the time you are talking about for your dd. 31/20 too.
I'd say go 31/20. Bat manufacturing companies are doing a better job of being closer to sticker weight these days. Worst case scenario, she chokes a half inch for just a little while.
