I agree with this. Our TB was against a team with a very, very good pitcher in the championship game. We were behind 2-0. Had the best power hitter bunt. She got to first and then the stealing began. Rinse, wash and repeat, create chaos. The defense was weak because of the lack of game time base...
DGD practices as a team 2 days a week during the playing season from April through mid November. There is around 8 games a week sometime more sometimes less during this time. Most players have individual practice on the off days.
Winter is 2 a week with a strength training once a week, all indoor.
IMHO I think the timed games, speed the play up. Our team has had five games in 1day, the timed games is the only way I see the tourneys staying on time.
Wow, I would hope intentionally hitting the batter would not be the pitch call. I'm not sure you are understanding my question. Is the "at bat" over on a walk at the time of the fourth ball or when the the walked batter stops running?
The tournament director did not. It was stated drop dead, batter finishes at bat. That is what is throwing me, If a walked batter turns into a runner by advancing past 1st base, when is the play over? This created some lively discussion.
USA Softball. Game is tied 7-7, no outs, runner on third, batter at plate. Ump announces last batter, drop dead, batter finishes at bat. The defense walks the batter. The offensive plan was to full run the walked batter past first base, rounding to second. Third base runner has a large lead...
I am not accusing them of anything. Maybe they are in a group text planning a BBQ. I am curios about electronic devices used for communication on offense. I suppose they could be sign stealing, I doubt that. I would expect that they have hand signs for their plays instead of screaming.
