Hi everyone, my DD broke her bat in a game this past weekend. I messaged coresoftball20 a couple of days ago, but have not received a response. Does anyone know if he is on vacation or no longer in business?
True. Our DD has been pulled off the mound before. Not because of her pitching, but due to fielding errors allowing runs to score. DD plays on a U16 team and strike outs ARE less prevalent at this age group and so, yes, fielders should be backing up their pitcher by making the routine plays...
Ok. So my wife checked the books. Our daughter allowed 10 walks on the weekend; 2 walks scored on error after 2 outs and 2 walks scored on error before 2 outs; she worked 19 1/3 innings; threw 202 strikes and 82 balls; walked 10 batters and struck out 26. My wife said none of the runs would have...
Hi guys, hoping someone can clarify something for me. If a pitcher walks a batter and the batter later scores due to fielding error, is this run charged to the pitcher as an earned run? Thank you
Unfortunately this is the way our dd's high school team is run. There are three very good pitchers, but only one sees about 90% of the action. A total waste of talent if you ask me.
Thanks DNeeld. PC says she is short and stocky and so will not have the advantages of a tall girl with a larger arm circle, but said her muscle mass makes up for it. Could you please elaborate on the comment you made about not having full IR motion? I'm just not understanding that principle...
https://youtu.be/muRbLvlHjJoMaybe a stupid question, but are there videos comparing HE to IR that I can see? I think my DD is/has been taught HE but not sure. Thanks This is a video made at one of her practices.
Thanks guys! I'll relay this info to my daughter. By the way, she's been swinging an Easton synergy speed (white/yellow model) and the team's 2015 mako. We figured the end loaded Demarini would swing about the same as the Easton since Easton tends to be a little over sticker weight.
