I see her loading around the corner, which then takes a person's body longer of a time to get to box.
I would do more of a straight back hand load, and bat a little taller, which will promote straight through the ball.
Also loading around the corner pulls your eyes off the pitch

DD's hands are moving too far up and back. Hands are 'moving' at the correct time but the stretch isn't where I would like to see/feel it.

Bonds stretch/resistance is from the SCRIP(scap & hip) area.
Your DD's stretch is from her sticking her front foot/leg out to her hands.

Added:
The hands going upward before launch is also giving your DD a downward then flat(slapper) to the ball swing.

Not loading around the corner and a taller bat would fix this?
less circular swing...
the fix would be straight through the swing path of the ball....all good
Lets keep it simple

I can agree with that........

I've seen a swing posted of a hitter without a corner (hands behind the hips) before but, I just can't place where I've seen it posted before. I'll keep thinking about whom/who it was and get back to you.....

What do you mean hands behind the hip prohibits a corner. How so?
