Sorry to hear about what happened with all the girls for the ACC opener on Friday looks like they will barely have enough to play Friday. Hopefully they chalk it all up to a lesson learned and the team moves on...Good Luck

Young suspended 7 players for Fri game due to violation of team rules. Plenty of room in the dugout.

OOooooooh, I guess that's why they showed all the players together in the stands. That does suck, but it looked like the remaining girls played a damn good game.
Last Saturday night when Duke beat UNC in basketball at home they had a “burning of the benches” celebration on West Campus - a Duke tradition. 7 players went and missed curfew by 20 min. DD was one of the 7, but to be honest I was not even upset at her wanting to take part in the celebration like a regular student.

Wow - strict coaches BUT they have to follow the rules imposed by the coaches. Lesson learned I’m sure...at least they know now that the coaches are not to be taken lightly. Haha. Now with the one game suspension AND a tough loss they had to watch from the stands, they will more than likely respect the rules.

I was surprised the coaches did not offer an extension of curfew in the event Duke won, but lesson learned on both sides. There are growing pains for a first year program.
