Reaves Park can handle a lot of water but they got about 5 inches Saturday and rain everyday this week. Moore and Mustang have not got as much but still pretty wet. But you know what tournament directors will do to play.

They're scheduled for Mustang I guess. Wildhorse is what's on the schedule. fingers crossed it's not a washout or a complete mud fest.

So the top 8 seed all advanced and went a combined 16-2 in the supers? That's unreal.

This should be a good WCWS this year. Though from reading this thread, weather may be a huge story. Best of luck to all who are attending.

16-2 is pretty crazy. I really thought TN looked weak early in the year but they have showed some grit. At this point I can't say anyone looks dominant. There was a thread a while back about the importance of having a good #2 pitcher and I think that proved to be a big separator. ULL was vulnerable because of pitching depth, Arizona had their pitching exposed, UCLA showed confidence in Ta'amalo (sp?) and she delivered when Carda looked like toast. Auburn is looking like they might be at a disadvantage in this series because of their pitching depth. ULL lit them up pretty well. I think that #2 is going to play a big role in whoever goes deep.

Offensively, all those lineups look deadly. So much hitting depth this year on all of the teams.

Would like to be in the meeting. "Our NCAA softball ends it's season at the stormiest time of the year for our country." "Hey, let's play our 'superbowl' at that time, how about we play it in the same place every year. The stormiest square mile in the country."
