That is true but DD likes a thin handle. She uses a .5 mm lizard skins on her bats. I wouldn't trust the thin bat tape to control the swivel.

Add a layer of packing tape under the Lizard Skin.

Some good rubber cement would stop it from twisting as well.

I will also add that it's a heavy bat but it hits the best of all of our 31's, when I'm swinging. It's a little too heavy for my 10yr old.

First of all, if you swing well, you aren't even going to feel the bat twist. When you deviate is when the twist is made to happen
