Sounds like you have to talk your dd into the bat before buying anything different
I took her to a cage last week and she tried three bats......afterwards she looked at me an said "well you brought the bat like the one I already have--right?" I replied "Yes I did but its used and its 11 plus years old" she replied " Ummm... it was born when I was born...." and just smiles and walks off.
Sunday when my grand daughter (Future DGD) was over. My DD shows DGD the picture of her sister (DGD's mother) posing with the bat that looks the one she has......and goes on to say.....I will make sure you have one when you start playing.....
