You were all wearing your uniforms still with the days dirt worn in like a trophy.
Shoulders back, heads held high.
Walking as a team, while meandering through the shops of downtown Huntington Beach.
Escorted by parents enthusiastically wearing team t-shirts and softball parent attire like softball mom, softball dad,
and i ❤ sb logo's.
Couldn't help but catch my eye to say hello and share some softball conversation with you.
We talked about the things we like best about the game as I asked each of you questions why you enjoy softball.
Each player spoke clearly and made eye contact. Each one had a great answer.
I want to thank you for upholding the tradition of team spirit and good camaraderie as you walked about in your uniforms. Reminds me so much of one of the greatest reasons I love our sport.
And it was great to see how much you love it too! TEAM!
