For the record........And because I get so many requests in my in box......I just wrote this PM to someone and I thought I'd share it here to clear up where I am in life today. He asked if I do any PC training.
And another PM regarding actual pitching lessons I wrote to another request......
I continue to read here frequently and have found that we have imparted so much knowledge here that most of the frequent posters here give very sound advise regarding pitching. And of course Java has plagiarized or otherwise rewritten most everything I've ever posted since 09, and has a one of the most solid understandings of fastpitch I've ever had the pleasure to write with on this message board.
He still has the fire and it seems the time to write and respond AND GIVE LESSONS, maybe because he still has a DD in the game. You guys will rue the day when she's done and he buys a new set of Taylormade irons and a shinny new driver.....
I'm still here......lurking in the darkness......so stay on you best behavior people.....
John, I'm out in Northern California. I retired from formally doing lessons about 6 years ago. I was saturated in everything softball for more then 40 years and I'm just burned out. My road included playing, umpiring, teaching and coaching the game for all those years. I've taught many many adults, including PC's and parents about the proper way to throw a softball underhand so they could pass the craft along to future pitchers.
With that said, I don't offer anything in the way of formal training sessions anymore for anyone. If you were ever in the area where I live and wanted to spend an hour or two discussing and learning about throwing a ball underhand, I'd be happy to meet with you. But I'm not really into setting up a formal training session or series of sessions.
If you're ever in Northern California, and namely Sonoma County, let me know and we'll get together for a few hours.
Best regards,
John

Mike, I retired from giving lessons about 6 years ago. I've moved on to my newest passion.....GOLF!
I'm in Sonoma county very close to Rich Balswick as a matter of fact, in Petaluma. If you ever around my little town I'd be happy to get together with you and DD for an informal meeting, and see her throw and maybe offer suggestions if I see anything that I think could be improved. Just let me know.
Best regards,
John
