Some unnamed site the parent asked if it was OK to text coach between games.
I just find this funny, how is this going to go well for you?

Last year at Nationals during the first elimination game I had a parent come to me in the middle of the inning while I was coaching 1st and complain her DD was on the bench for the 2nd time this weekend and that they are wasting their time and money (we were 30 minutes from there front door) and won't be back for the next game of the day and will let me know later if they will return the following day or not. Needless to say they didn't get an option and were told to depart immediately. So yeah a text in between games sounds way better to me.
DD 15 now, she has made it very clear she can take care of herself and shut up.

I can't begin to count how many emails, text messages, and full conversations with coaches and/or other parents I've only had in my mind because dd would disown me for butting in. I write strongly worded emails - then I delete them or send to a private email I have as a diary for myself.LOL! My DD is same way. She gets mad if I even get 2-3 feet near dugout! So now I am just satisfied with being team mom and I am pretty busy with that. No more running interference for my DD.
