Have y'all ever considered playing HS softball in the Fall? Our season starts in August and is done by the end of October.

Here in the Great Northeast and I would assume else where too, football is where the money is at.
Now it is funny that football is a fall sport in the northeast because 90% of the season is played in 60 - 70 deg weather . On the other hand softball is a spring sport that plays 75% of its games in temperatures that are below 50 deg.
They have tried to move the two sports but there is a small problem with moving them. THE FIRST MARKING PERIOD !
See football players don't become ineligible because of grades till after the season is over.
