That's great Andrew! That inner drive is everything.

My DD will be "competing" with a very motivated and incredibly athletic girl. She is big, strong, and throws harder than most grown men at 11 years old. DD is a better receiver of the ball now and quicker behind the plate, but knowing the coaches in this town, should her competition continue to play, she doesn't stand a chance.

So we're working on giving her a well rounded game and hope she falls into a spot that suits her perfectly.

Grogger...... we still have bugs to work out with DD's skills but it will all come in time...I plan on letting her play SS or 2nd on days she isnt catching...though we have a pitcher this year that is 9 and pitches harder and faster then our 11 year olds...so trying to keep them paired to build a solid relationship together...and I totally understand the issues with how some are picked due to size/name...I started coaching this year lol...but Ive told DD you still have to earn your spot just like all the others
