A ball is hit toward the SS and the runner from 2nd runs into the SS and is out for interference. How is the AB scored for the batter? And does that batter lead off the next inning? Thanks

No, the batter-runner has completed his/her turn at bat and would be awarded 1B.

Scorer may rule it an hit or a fielder's choice, depending on what the scorer believes would have happened if the ball had not hit the runner.

If it would have been a routine play for the SS score it as a fielders choice - interference on the runner.
