Respect From Old Coach

I was looking through some old ( last year ) photos and found a picture of DD getting intentionally walked. I remember the moment, but not the particulars. I believe the winning run was on 2 and the game was tied with time running out. DD's old coach called for an intentional walk. I was so proud of her that her coach would show that kind of respect for her. Interestingly, while playing school ball the opposing team's HC did the same thing, but the AC said let her hit, which she did. Her previous AB she hit one over the fence had there been a fence in place. It was a bomb.
