Over the weekend my perennial "B" team DD, who currently plays 14U, was called up by the "A" team and she pitched a perfect game!!! And she pitched it in front of all her detractors, the ones who thought she deserved the "B" team. It was all quite nice, everyone seemed happy for her. After the game they had a little ceremony where they awarded her the game ball. Very special!
My other 16U "A" level DD in a one day tournament, pitched her team to three victories! They also had several great hits including what almost became her first over the fence home run. Her team won the championship with a 5-0 record!
