Power hitters vs contact hitters

My 16u team has what I consider, 9 power hitters and only 2 contact hitters/slappers. I want hard line drives. That's our goal every at bat. We do not just make contact. We strive to hit through you. If she gets under the ball a bit by accident...that's usually a HR!
To the op.... I'm taking the power hitter 99/100 times.
When a batter can hit so hard the the infield is more worried about protecting themselves from the screaming yellow blur, rather than making a play....that's my kind of hitter!

a few less but hard hit balls is better that just putting the ball in play. Hard hit balls get booted, misjudged, and sent yard.
