Ahhhhh....nothing says spring sports like a good dusting of snow.

DDs scrimmage today had snow piled up along the outfield fence. Hit the snow GRD. Behind the dish was a more for a pig than a catcher. DD could hardly move around back there and didn't seem to happy blocking anything back there. Had a hot hands inside her mitt.

I'm jealous. We still have 18" of snow on the Varsity field and who knows how much on the JV field.

DD had a varsity scrimmage yesterday and it was a balmy 28 degree !!! - way to freaking cold !!!

My son had first little league game last night. It was about 40 with 20 mph winds. He said it wasn't too bad, but sitting in the stands was not much fun. At least DD's tourney this weekend will be around 80.

We played a DH in college this past weekend. Starting temp 30 and ending temp 28. Factor in the wind and it was cold. One bat shattered and that was somewhat scary.
