Kelly K'd one of my students on Saturday on a 71 mph high fastball. She's a tenth grader at Pope HS in metro Atlanta and plays for the East Cobb Bullets (Schnute) 18 Gold team. I clocked her on about 20 pitches and she was between 64 and 71 with an average of 67 mph. Of course, that was just on my Pocket Radar.

The first catcher in the video is not doing the pitcher any favors. All that moving around and bouncing up in front of the umpire is probably costing her some strike calls.
