Why would Michigan use De Marini "The One" slow pitch bats? Didn't know you could do that.

Why would Michigan use De Marini "The One" slow pitch bats? Didn't know you could do that.

I first seen Dorian Shaw use it when she was at MI. Fastpitch/Slowpitch if it's stamped you can use it. I've also seen girls at the 16U and High school level use that particular bat.

There is no differentiating between slow pitch and fast pitch bats. Swing the biggest bat, you can handle. You can use a FP bat in Slow Pitch, but they are too light for most men and some women.
