Gotta love small town police departments. Calling the umpire "agitated and uncooperative" when he tried to file a complaint. I'm sure the police department made him feel real welcome. I wouldn't be surprised if they threatened to lock him up over the incident. I think I'd become agitated too.

And i was kind of down after the WCWS, hoping Auburn would win, then to see this article, yet a public official, government, and to be involved in such an episode, if it's true, he should be banned for a long time. I saw a coach once during a practice almost decapitate his stepson for missing a ground ball, one of my grand sons was there. It seems like they don't really have a clue what life is like... They should watch a few WCWS games and hear a bit of audio from these coaches, it would be so great to have them instead of all the knuckleheads.
