Gtee and the tanner tee

I cut a 12" x 12" piece of rubber roofing , rolled it into a cone shape and stuck into the top of a regular old rubber tee. Wrapped some gorilla duct tape around to hold it and it works just like tanner tee.

To make the cone you can also go to a tire place (Goodyear, sears, etc.) and ask for an old tire liner (inner tube) that they are tossing. You can cut sections from that to wrap for the cone.

BTW my cone is awesome!

List of parts from the video, some auto parts have a make your own gasket kits and it has a 12-12 rubber gasket in it.

Wood 10-10-2
Gasket repair kit 6-6-16 (Red rubber)
1 ¼ inch flange
1 inch PVC 16 inches long
1 1/8 inch PVC 14 inches long
1 ¼ inch PVC 12 inches long
Screw PVC pipe thing to screw into flange
1 ¼ crutch stopper
1 1/8 crutch stopper
Screws to attach flange to wood
Duct tape
Spray can paint
Attach flange to wood base
Cut hole in crutch stoppers, start small and make bigger if needed
Attach biggest PVC Pipe to Screw PVC pipe thing
Attach the biggest stopper over the biggest PVC pipe
Attach the next biggest stopper over the next biggest PVC pipe
Wrap the gasket repair kit around top PVC use duct tape to attach to top PVC pipe

I used the more expensive black ABS tubing which is more shatter proof (next to the white PVC pipes at Lowes).

Instead of playing with your cone, it would be much wiser to order a couple from Tanner. You'll have it at the field days before you could even get close to making one yourself. And the quality (safety) will be much better, I'm sure.
