I am starting two pools, first one is " when will we see some grass this year ? " second is when will we come out of the gym ( playing in the parking lot does not count ) These pools only apply to the the Northeastern schools.

My picks - To see grass March 27th
out of the gym April 2nd

Tryouts here start March 16th. The chance of those being outside is slim to none since the snow is currently up to the top of the outfield fence.

Let's look at the bright side...March starts Monday!...You know, March...the month where we sometimes get the biggest snowstorms (swell!! ).

The next issue will be the flooding that will result when all this snow melts! We wont be able to mow our lawns until Memorial Day weekend.

-6 on the way to work this morning BUT I hear we will be up to 38 on Sunday and trending warmer. I say mid-NJ will be seeing grass by March 7 and outside by March 20. Might be on the turf field but outside. First scrimmage is scheduled for 3/23. First game 4/1.
