I was taught and under the belief that every successful pitcher gets into the proper "K" position at some point (stride is on the powerline, glove is on track with the powerline, frontside is directed down the powerline towards target, etc.) ....how you get there is personal style. Thoughts?

I would agree with that however some "styles" are more efficient than others.
