Well the day arrived, and we put our name on the dotted line. A nice time with family, friends, coaches past-present-future, and teammates. It was to storm all day and my wife and daughter were having fits about "our hair"!!! But it held off and was just cloudy. Ole mom started crying during the press interviews, haha.
The "ink" article and my joke won't be available until next week, but I'll post a link when it does. The sports reporter said he had signings all week over the mid-south and he was going to print them all at one time in a "special edition" of the paper.
I was happy for my baby, and her choice of college/career and I'm looking forward to this senior year ride and beyond. I'm glad all the hype and headaches are over, but in a way it's like the "comedown" after opening presents on Christmas.
Thank you all on the forum for the wonderful times, advice, and personal stories of your kids. I think that's why "our" forum, even if it's smaller, feels like family.
