I'm sure if I had to actually do it, I would not like it at all. Especially dealing with all the parents who aren't happy about what you've done!

Defense, or lack thereof, is the primary reasons using ERA as a stat to compare pitchers is almost useless. In softball a weak defense will give up a lot of infield hits that good defense will make plays on.
