Here in the Appalachians it tends to be cooler so the D-Wife bought a surplus US Military -10 degree sleeping bag. She carries it softball games in the spring and football games in the fall. It is a Mummy style with multiple zippers, and the color does not show dirt as bad. She sits in her beach chair and stays cozy, while I pace the outfield and visit the concession.

It was darned cold at our tournament this weekend and one of the Moms did that exact thing: zipped herself into a sleeping bag and sat in her beach chair. I had a handwarmer packet, wool socks, insulated boots, long underwear, a winter coat and a knit cap, but I was still cold. Next time it's that cold, I'm bringing a sleeping bag! :-D

I am not missing Fall Ball. :)

I need to remember, no Fall Ball next year too. It makes me cold reading your Posts.

Nice and warm in the gym.

Next trip to the fleamarket, I'm going to look for a zippo hand warmer, because DW is a shameless glove thief.
Last tournament, two weeks ago, was 100, so it's going to be a while before she needs it.
