Broken Ghost Bat?

My 17 year old has a 33 drop 10 USA 2018 Ghost bat we just bought in February. The sound has changed, however the pop is still there. At the joint under the rubber piece you can see the plastic is cracked. I have read conflicting articles if this is broken. Any thoughts?

Pic? Hard to tell without seeing. But if it definitely cracked as you say it is then send it back. I suggest doing it soon as right now they are about week and a half turn around time.
