"My pitching knowledge has improved the most as I am learning to make adjustments to collegiate batters and the umpires’ strike zones with Coach Lacey Waldrop's help - she is a great pitching coach. I am learning from two of the best with coach Marissa Young and coach Lacey!"
Describe What It Was Like To Be A Part Of The Program’s Inaugural Game On Sept. 30.
"It was nerve-racking leading up to the game, but it was an amazing experience to be a part of the very first game in Duke’s history and to see all the people who came out to support Duke softball. It was a monumental day that I will never forget."
What’s One Personal Goal You Have Set For Yourself During The 2018 Season?
"For the 2018 season, I have set a goal of being a bulldog in the circle and the ACC Freshman of the Year. Go big or go home!"
What Does It Mean To You To Be A Part Of Team One?
"It is such a rare opportunity and not just anyone can say they were on team one of a collegiate varsity sport, so it is a huge honor to be part of the inaugural team. We get to establish the foundation that will lead to the prominence of Duke softball."
