Blindfolded

Can your DD throw strikes blindfolded?
Since pitching is 100% mechanics they should be able to right?

mine can- we actually do this drill when she starts getting all mixed up....I go Yoda on her and tell her to feel the force.

Why would that be hard? Umpires call balls and strikes blindfolded all the time.

I don't mind asking lame questions on here. It make perfect sense to me but I don't want to sound all "Mommy Dearest" when I ask her PC.

Sometimes you can catch DD pitching with her eyes closed in games.

blindfolded pitching is fine....DDs hate it when I make them bat and field blindfolded though...

I really do. DD loves it. She actually asks to do it sometimes. Gives her a thrill to say she can pitch strikes blindfolded.

The legendary Eddy Feigner could pitch blindfolded AND strike out batters.

I used it with my students primarily as a confidence builder. They enjoyed going up against ole coach Hal to see who was better at it.

Loser had to get on their knees and bow three times to the victor while saying "NOT WORTHY, NOT WORTHY, NOT WORTHY" Loud enough so everyone in the building heard it. Had to do it many times myself. Afew of them called it the 'Not worthy' drill.

Yup, and there was that time someone dit hit it, right back into his eye, blindfolded! OUCH! BIG SHINER!

After that one of the guys stood next to him to field any hit coming back and protect the ole Barnstormer.

He was great.
