Another thread closed

Why in hell do you guys keep closing threads???????????? It was pretty civil and nobody was griping. The majority of the discussion was between regular DF posters.

1) There had been some threads with personal attacks.
2) A couple of the newbie posters seem to me to be reincarnations of previous DFPers.

But, if you want to waste time arguing with a brick, be my guest. The thread was moved to the technical hitting forum.

I think some threads should be closed at a certain point because there is no more meaningful information being added. The good posts get outnumbered with nonsense or trolls and the information gets buried.

There are lots of good posts in the hitting threads but no one is going to go through 40 pages of nonsense to find a good nugget.
