My daughter started pitching this fall when I had no pitchers and needed someone who could throw it over the plate. By the end of the fall she actually had some decent success, and in our last tournament struck out 15 and walked 11 in two games. I was very happy with that.
I’ve read all the stickied posts trying to learn all I can about pitching. I know that I still don’t understand about half of what’s posted!! But trying to learn and help my DD get better.
I know a big thing we need to work on is her load, it’s very anemic right now. But I think she’s doing a lot pretty okay, too, to my untrained eye. But what do you all think? What should we work on and concentrate on? Anything she’s doing that’s flat wrong?
My DD is not gifted with size, she’s the smallest kid in her grade, so she knows that she’ll need to work on technique to get the power some taller kids get naturally.
