1st "Spring" Tournament in the morning...

DD has her first "spring" tournament in the tmrw. It's only supposed to be 36* with a wind chill below freezing. Way too cold for the March 7th in Southeast Texas. Oh well, we are pumped. She begged to go to sleep early as we have to leave before daylight to get there.

She's put in a ton of work over the winter and is crushing in the cages. Let's see if it translates to the field...

Well, left the house at 6:30am, 33 degrees. Walked back in the door at 10pm. 6 games and a 3rd place finish. Not bad for first tourn back. DD went 9-12 on the day and caught all but 2 innings. Hope everyone else had a great day at the softball fields...

We all slept good. News called for bad weather on Sunday so Tourn Director made it a one day tourn, 2 pool, single elim.
